MY REVIEW:
A very good book! I found it thanks to a recommendation of a friend. I was not very sure at first, because Fae are not something that really amuse me. But this book proved me wrong.
The beginning is SLOW in my opinion, it’s like nothing really happens but after 35% it gets interesting.
The writing is remarkable and never boring. Descriptions are everywhere and for every taste.
We have several characters but the main ones are Mac and Barrons.
Mac is an extraordinary protagonist, she surprises the reader over and over and ends up being a kick ass heroine, not the blond bubble-head that we meet at the start of the book.
Barrons, WOW, I just love him! He is intriguing and I’m looking forward to finding out what he is. (I have a some ideas, but let’s see what happens)
Definitely my favorite character.
The plot is complex and here we just see the tip of the iceberg.
The only thing I would criticize is the “sexual” scenes that made no sense to me. (they could have been developed differently). Let’s be clear, they were so few so It’s not big deal. Anyway the series is called “Fever” so yes, I was expecting steamy moments but it’s like they came out of the blue!
Anyway it’s a very promising start to a series! Can’t wait to read more of it!
